The home ,its exquisite decor and woodwork,the gardens,the scenic beauty, the family and their hospitality just added to the magic of what makes Nammane so unique. Two things that really deserve mention are : the small personal touches and overall flow of the day .So much punch was packed in a single day ,yet so well spaced that we enjoyed every second of it. Mr Gowda with his inimitable style and Mrs Gowda with her soft spoken charm ,well it was an absolute up honor to meet and spend time with them.We felt so privileged to have had a sneak peek into the history and life of the Gowda family. I nurture the fond hope that Mr Gowda will heed to my request to chronicle his life and experiences into a book which will be an invaluable legacy for generations to come

"Serve very good coffee grown in their own estate" A very good place to stay , food was great, location is great by the stream and lots of greenary around. Near by short 5km drive to the hill top which is usually covered in mist - take a 4*4 if you want to explore around especially in rainy season. Note : Apart from BSNL mobile network , Airtel and Vodafone dont work:) Rooms are very well maintained and so are the toilets. If you want to have a fullfilling bath suggest you use the main bath of the house -natural wood heated boiler . Note: You would need to carry your own drink . Note: There are no TV s in individual room but then again its quite relaxing walking around in the estates.
